Getting Started
How do I connect my TikTok Shop?
Go to Settings > Accounts and click "Connect TikTok Shop." You will be redirected to TikTok to authorize read-only access. The process takes less than a minute. See Connecting Your Shop for a full guide.
How long does the first import take?
It depends on how many orders your shop has. Small shops (under 1,000 orders) import in a few minutes. Large shops (50,000+ orders) can take 1-3 hours. You can track progress in Settings > Import History. See How Data Import Works.
Do I need to do anything after connecting my shop?
Your data imports automatically. The one thing we strongly recommend is setting your product costs (COGS) on the Inventory page. Without costs, profit metrics like Gross Profit, Margin, and ROI cannot be calculated. See Setting Up COGS.
Data and Accuracy
Why do my numbers differ from TikTok Seller Center?
Small differences are usually caused by settlement timing. TikTok finalizes fees and taxes after delivery on its own schedule. Recent orders use estimated fees in Dashboardly, which are automatically corrected once settlement data arrives. See My Numbers Don't Match TikTok.
How often does Dashboardly update my data?
Dashboardly receives real-time notifications from TikTok whenever an order is placed, shipped, or refunded. It also runs periodic background syncs to catch anything missed. Your data is typically up to date within minutes of changes on TikTok.
Can Dashboardly modify my TikTok Shop data?
No. Dashboardly requests read-only access to your TikTok Shop. It cannot create, change, or delete any products, orders, or settings on your TikTok account.
Metrics and Reports
What is the difference between Gross Profit and Net Profit?
- Gross Profit = Net Sales - Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). This shows how much you earn after subtracting the cost of the products themselves.
- Net Profit = Gross Profit minus all other expenses (fees, shipping, ad spend, manual adjustments, etc.). This is your actual bottom-line profit.
Why does my ROI show as blank?
ROI (Return on Investment) requires costs to calculate. If your total costs are $0 (because COGS is not set and no other expenses exist), ROI cannot be computed. Set your product costs on the Inventory page to enable ROI calculations. See Missing or Zero Metrics.
What are manual adjustments?
Manual adjustments let you add income or expenses that TikTok does not track -- things like software subscriptions, staff wages, packaging costs, or off-platform revenue. Adding these gives you a more complete profit picture. See Manual Adjustments.
Account and Billing
Can I connect more than one shop?
Yes. The number of shops you can connect depends on your plan. Go to Settings > Accounts and click "Connect TikTok Shop" to add another. See Plans and Billing.
What happens if I exceed my order limit?
Each plan includes a set number of orders per billing cycle. If you exceed the limit, overage charges apply at a per-order rate. You can set an Overage Cap to control maximum extra charges. Once the cap is reached, Dashboardly enters read-only mode until the next billing cycle.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings > Subscription and click "Cancel Subscription." Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. Your data is not deleted -- you can resubscribe later and your history will still be there. See Plans and Billing.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained. If you resubscribe in the future, all your historical data will still be available. During the inactive period, new orders will not be imported.
Team and Collaboration
Can I give my team members access?
Yes. Go to Settings > Collaborators to invite team members. You can control which shops each person can see and what actions they can take (view-only or management permissions). See Team Management.
Can collaborators change my settings?
Only if you grant them management permissions. By default, collaborators have view-only access. You control their exact permissions when inviting or editing them.
Technical
What regions does Dashboardly support?
Dashboardly supports TikTok Shops in all regions, including the United States, United Kingdom, and Southeast Asia.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Dashboardly uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transfers. Your TikTok authorization is handled through TikTok's official OAuth system -- Dashboardly never sees or stores your TikTok password. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider.
How do I export my data?
You can export orders and customer data to CSV files from the Orders and Customers pages. See Exporting Your Data.
I found a bug or have a feature request. How do I report it?
Contact our support team through the in-app chat or email. We welcome feedback and actively use it to improve Dashboardly.
