Overview
Dashboardly uses a hybrid pricing model: a base subscription plus flexible usage-based pricing for order volume. This page explains how order limits, flex orders, overage charges, and the Monthly Maximum guarantee work together so you always know what to expect on your bill.
What Are Flex Orders?
"Flex orders" is the term for the order processing allowance included with your plan. Standard Brand plans include the following number of orders in each monthly usage cycle. These are the orders Dashboardly tracks and analyzes for you -- every order that flows through your connected TikTok Shop(s) counts toward your flex order allowance.
| Plan | Orders Included per Billing Cycle |
|---|---|
| Starter | 1,500 |
| Growing | 5,000 |
| Pro | 20,000 |
| Enterprise | 50,000 |
Agency and negotiated plans can use different pooled allowances. For those accounts, the plan details shown in Settings > Subscription are authoritative.
What Happens When You Exceed Your Limit
If you process more orders than your plan includes in a given month, flex pricing activates automatically. Here is what happens:
- Dashboardly keeps tracking orders. Orders continue syncing securely so your history is preserved. When the overage cap is exhausted, newly received orders are held from customer-visible results. Dashboard, Profit & Loss, Sales & Profit, and Orders stay available and continue to use the orders that were visible before the cap was exhausted.
- A small per-order fee is charged for each order above your included limit. The rate depends on your plan.
- Your total flex charges are capped at a guaranteed Monthly Maximum. Orders received after the cap do not create additional overage charges while they are held.
You do not need to do anything. Flex pricing activates and deactivates automatically based on your usage.
If your plan allows a higher Monthly Maximum, you can increase it in Settings > Subscriptions > Overage Cap. Select Increase when the cap is exhausted, or Edit cap while capacity remains. The card shows your selected limit, accrued charges, and available balance. On an active paid subscription, when the increase provides additional flex-order capacity, Dashboardly resumes flex billing at your plan’s per-order rate and releases held records. You can also lower your selected cap, even from the plan maximum, as long as it covers flex charges already accrued. A cap change does not remove a manual pause or resolve a failed payment.
Flex Order Rates and Monthly Maximums
Brand Plans
| Plan | Included Orders | Flex Rate (per extra order) | Monthly Maximum | Billable-Order Threshold |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter ($29/mo) | 1,500 | $0.01 | $44 | 5,900 |
| Growing ($79/mo) | 5,000 | $0.008 | $80 | 15,000 |
| Pro ($199/mo) | 20,000 | $0.005 | $150 | 50,000 |
| Enterprise ($399/mo) | 50,000 | $0.004 | $200 | 100,000 |
The billable-order threshold is reached when the remaining Monthly Maximum cannot cover one more extra order. A small unused fraction does not permit billing another order beyond that budget. It is not a sync limit: Dashboardly continues importing new order records so they are not lost. Once the threshold is reached, newly received orders are held from customer-visible results, and no additional flex charges are added during that billing cycle. Core reporting pages remain available with the previously visible order set. A new monthly allowance may resume normal usage accounting, but held orders remain hidden until a cap increase that provides capacity, a plan upgrade, or approved support action.
If a promotion discounts your flex charges, the discount changes the amount you pay but does not reduce the order coverage of the cap you select. For example, Growing's standard 80 Monthly Maximum covers 10,000 additional orders at 0.008 each, so its billable-order threshold remains 15,000 orders even when a coupon lowers the flex amount shown on your invoice.
How the Monthly Maximum Works
The Monthly Maximum is a hard cap on the total flex charges you can be billed in any single month. Think of it as a ceiling on your bill.
Example: You are on the Pro plan ($199/month) with 20,000 included orders.
- If you process 25,000 orders: You went over by 5,000 orders. At 0.005 each, that is 25 in flex charges. Your total bill is 199 + 25 = $224.
- If you process 40,000 orders: You went over by 20,000 orders. At 0.005 each, that is 100 in flex charges. Your total bill is 199 + 100 = $299.
- If you process 60,000 orders: You went over by 40,000 orders. At 0.005 each, that would be 200, but the Monthly Maximum is 150. Your total bill is 199 + 150 = 349. Additional orders still sync securely, but orders received after the cap is exhausted are held from the app until you upgrade your plan or support releases them.
The maximum you will pay on Pro for the base plan plus flex orders is 349/month (199 base + $150 Monthly Maximum), regardless of how many orders you process. Taxes, credits, and separately purchased services can still affect the final invoice.
This means you can have a breakout month -- a viral product, BFCM, a holiday rush -- without worrying about a huge bill.
Your Maximum Possible Monthly Bill
Here is the absolute maximum you could ever pay on each plan, including the base subscription and the full Monthly Maximum:
| Plan | Base Price | Monthly Maximum | Max Possible Bill |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29 | $44 | $73 |
| Growing | $79 | $80 | $159 |
| Pro | $199 | $150 | $349 |
| Enterprise | $399 | $200 | $599 |
This table covers standard monthly Brand plans. Annual, Agency, negotiated, tax, credit, and add-on amounts are shown separately in checkout or on the invoice.
Shop and Store Slot Limits
Each plan includes a set number of TikTok Shop connections:
Brand Plans
| Plan | Shops Included |
|---|---|
| Starter | 1 |
| Growing | 3 |
| Pro | 5 |
| Enterprise | 10 |
If you need more shops or store slots than your plan allows, review the available options in Settings > Subscription or contact support for a negotiated plan.
Team Member Limits
Each plan includes a set number of team member seats (collaborators who can log in to your dashboard):
| Plan | Team Members |
|---|---|
| Starter | 2 |
| Growing | 5 |
| Pro | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
Team members share the same dashboard and data. You can manage team members from Settings > Team in your dashboard.
How to Check Your Current Usage
You can see your current order usage at any time in your Dashboardly dashboard:
- Go to Settings > Subscription.
- You will see a progress bar showing how many orders you have processed this month versus your included limit.
- If you are in the flex zone, you will also see your current flex charges and how much headroom remains before hitting the Monthly Maximum.
Tips for Managing Your Usage
- Check your usage mid-month. If you are consistently near your limit, it may be more cost-effective to upgrade. On a higher tier, your included orders jump significantly and the flex rate drops.
- Watch for seasonal spikes. If you know BFCM or holiday sales will push you over your limit, the Monthly Maximum guarantees your overage stays predictable. You may want to upgrade temporarily or take advantage of seasonal promotions.
- Dashboardly sends usage alerts. You will receive an email when you reach 80% of your included orders and again when you hit 100%. These are informational -- no action is required, and your dashboard keeps working normally.
When to Consider Upgrading
Here are signs it may be time to move to a higher plan:
- You have exceeded your order limit 3 or more months in a row. Upgrading will likely save you money compared to paying flex charges every month.
- You are running out of team member seats. Growing allows 5; Pro and Enterprise include unlimited team members.
- You need more shops. Growing includes 3 shops, Pro includes 5, and Enterprise includes 10.
- You need features only available on higher tiers. Review the current plan cards in Settings > Subscription to compare features.
To upgrade, go to Settings > Subscription and select your new plan. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my analytics stop if I go over my order limit? After the overage cap is exhausted, a warning banner shows that the cap has been used. All pages included in your plan remain available. You can continue using Inventory, Customers, Marketing, settings, and reports without being redirected to Orders.
The warning updates automatically in an open tab and when you return to Dashboardly. A successful renewal payment does not hide it while orders from the previous cap remain held. If your subscription has ended, the banner directs you to choose a plan to restore access.
Newly received orders are stored securely but held from order lists, details, order-derived reporting, customer analytics, and exports. Previously visible orders remain available and continue receiving updates. Saved reports and cached results follow the same visibility rule. Independent data such as inventory stock, Ad Spend, and Manual Adjustments can still update; reports may therefore differ from TikTok's complete data while orders are held.
Renewals do not reveal held records. On an active paid subscription, increasing your Monthly Maximum so it provides additional capacity releases them. A paid plan upgrade, activation of an approved custom plan, or approved support action can also release held records. Manual pauses and payment restrictions remain in effect after cap edits.
Can I see exactly what I will be charged before the month ends? Yes. Your subscription page shows a running total of flex charges for the current month, along with your Monthly Maximum cap.
Do cancelled or refunded orders count toward my limit? Yes. Every order that enters your TikTok Shop is tracked and counts toward your flex order limit, regardless of whether it is later cancelled or refunded. Dashboardly still processes and analyzes the data for these orders.
What if I am on annual billing -- do order limits reset monthly? Yes. Your order limit resets monthly on your billing anniversary, even on annual billing. Unused orders do not roll over.
Is there a way to get unlimited orders on a Brand plan? Standard Brand plans use an included allowance and Monthly Maximum cap. Some negotiated accounts have different entitlements; contact support if you need a custom high-volume arrangement.
