Product Overview

最終更新: 2026年9月24日

Product Overview brings one product's sales, profitability, stock, SKU performance, and daily trends together. Open Sales & Profit, select a product, and choose Overview to review its performance without rebuilding the same product filter on another report.

View a daily metric trend

Open Product Overview > Charts and use the Metric trend panel to see how performance changed across the selected date range. The chart follows the current shop, timezone, date range, accounting basis, date basis, figures, sales scope, and sample-cost setting. Changing one of those reporting settings refreshes the chart with the same rules used by Dashboardly's financial reports.

Choose any of these daily metrics: Gross Sales, Net Sales, Ad Spend, Gross Profit, Net Profit, Units, Sample Units, or Orders. You can display one metric or select Compare with to overlay a second metric. Use Swap to make the comparison metric primary or Clear to return to one line. Currency metrics share a currency scale; when you compare currency with a count, Dashboardly labels separate automatic axes so the relationship remains readable.

For example, select Net Sales and compare it with Sample Units to see whether days with creator sample activity overlap with changes in sales. This visual relationship is not proof that samples caused the sales change, but it gives you a useful period to investigate. Your selected scope and metric choices are saved on the current device, while the financial values always continue to follow the active report settings.

Choose Account, Product, or SKU scope

Use Trend scope above the chart to choose the level you want to review. Account shows the whole active shop, even though you are viewing one product's page. Product limits the trend to the product you opened. When a specific SKU is selected on Product Overview, Selected SKU is also available and limits the trend to that variant.

This makes it possible to compare the shop-wide direction with a product's own movement without leaving Product Overview. For example, if Account Net Sales increased from 8,000 to 10,000 while the product stayed near $500, the product did not share the account's growth over that period. Switch back to Product or Selected SKU before making product-specific decisions, because Account scope includes every product in the active shop.

The scope selector remains available while the chart is loading or if a temporary chart error appears. A Product or SKU trend never changes the product selected elsewhere on the page, and Account scope never changes your active shop. If you leave Charts and return later, Dashboardly loads the latest active reporting context rather than showing an older selection.

Understand Units and Sample Units

Units counts paid product units. Sample Units counts fulfilled free sample units separately, so samples do not inflate paid sales volume or revenue. A paid sample-program order remains a regular sale; only a fulfilled sample with no buyer-paid product subtotal is counted as a free sample. Replacement shipments are not counted as Sample Units.

The Include sample costs reporting option controls whether eligible sample product, shipping, and fee costs affect profitability metrics. It does not move free samples into paid Units and does not remove Sample Units from the chart. This lets you review sample activity and its financial effect independently. For example, a day can show 12 paid Units, 3 Sample Units, and lower Net Profit when sample costs are included.

Recent days can be marked provisional while source data is still finalizing. If part of a range is not ready, Dashboardly identifies partial coverage instead of filling missing days with zero or drawing a line through an unknown value. Use Retry when the panel says the daily trend is still being prepared. The rest of Product Overview remains available if only the trend cannot load.
