Plans and Billing

Overview

Dashboardly offers two families of plans: Brand plans for sellers managing their own TikTok Shops, and Agency plans for agencies and freelancers managing client shops. Each family has three tiers that scale with order volume, shop count, team size, and feature depth.

All plans are billed through Stripe, a secure payment processor. You can manage your subscription, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from within Dashboardly.

For current prices and annual billing details, see the pricing page on the Dashboardly website or go to Settings > Subscription in the app.

What "Orders Included" Means

Each plan includes a set number of orders per billing cycle. This is the number of new orders that Dashboardly processes from your TikTok Shop(s) during that period.

If you exceed your included orders, flex order charges apply at a per-order rate that depends on your plan. Every plan (except Agency Pro, which is unlimited) has a Monthly Maximum that caps how much you can pay in flex charges in a single month -- so your total bill is always predictable. Agency Pro has no flex charges because orders are unlimited.

If you prefer a hard limit instead of the built-in Monthly Maximum, you can set a lower Overage Cap manually. Once a cap is reached, Dashboardly switches to read-only mode for new orders -- you can still view your existing data, but new orders will not be processed until the next billing cycle or until you raise the cap.

Annual vs. Monthly Billing

All plans are available in both monthly and annual billing options:

  • Monthly billing -- Pay each month with the flexibility to change or cancel anytime.
  • Annual billing -- Pay for a full year upfront and save about 20%. For example, Starter is $23/month when billed annually ($276/year), saving roughly $72 compared to monthly.

You can see both options when viewing plans in Settings > Subscription.

Managing Your Subscription

Viewing Your Current Plan

Go to Settings > Subscription to see:

  • Your current plan name and price
  • Billing cycle dates
  • Order usage (included orders used vs. remaining)
  • Overage cap status
  • Payment method on file

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Subscriptions.
  2. Browse the available plans under "Upgrade your plan".
  3. Click Select Plan on the plan you want.
  4. Review your choice in the Selected Plan summary bar at the bottom and click Upgrade Plan.
  5. You will be redirected to Stripe to confirm the change.

Upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle.

Downgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Select a lower-tier plan.
  3. Confirm the change.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep your current plan's features until then.

Note: If your current usage exceeds the limits of the lower plan (e.g., you have 4 shops connected but the lower plan only allows 1), you may need to disconnect shops or remove collaborators before the downgrade takes effect.

Changing Your Payment Method

Payment is processed through Stripe. To update your card or payment method:

  1. Go to Settings > Payments.
  2. Click Manage Billing.
  3. You will be directed to Stripe's secure portal to update your card, billing address, or VAT / Tax ID.

Downloading Invoices

All invoices are available in the Stripe Customer Portal. To access them:

  1. Go to Settings > Payments.
  2. Click Manage Billing.
  3. In the Stripe portal, open Billing history to download PDF invoices for any past payment.

Invoices include your billing details and are suitable for accounting or tax purposes. You can also update your billing address and VAT / Tax ID in the same portal -- these details appear on all future invoices.

Flex Orders and Overage Cap

Flex orders are any orders processed beyond your plan's included amount. Each plan (except Agency Pro) has a built-in Monthly Maximum that caps your flex charges automatically -- for example, Starter's flex charges stop accumulating once they reach $44 in a given month, so Starter's worst-case total bill is $29 + $44 = $73.

If you want a stricter limit than the built-in Monthly Maximum, you can set your own Overage Cap in the app. Cap controls:

  • Resume Cap -- Re-enable flex tracking so new orders continue to be processed.
  • Pause Cap -- Stop flex charges entirely. Dashboardly enters read-only mode when included orders run out.
  • Edit Cap -- Change the maximum flex amount you are willing to pay in a single month.

Cancellation

How to Cancel

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription".
  3. Complete a brief exit survey (optional but appreciated).
  4. Confirm the cancellation.

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You keep full access to all features until that date.
  • After the billing period ends, your account enters a limited state.
  • Your data is not deleted immediately -- see the retention policy below.

Exporting Your Data

Before cancelling, export any data you want to keep. Most pages offer a self-serve Export CSV button -- Orders, Customers, Inventory, Profit & Loss, Sales & Profit, Product Overview, and Warehouse. See the Exporting Your Data article for details on each.

For a full account-level archive or data that isn't covered by a self-serve export (for example, manual adjustments history), contact support@dashboardly.io and we will prepare the file for you.

Data Retention After Cancellation

After your subscription is cancelled, your historical data is retained for 90 days. During this period, you can reactivate your account and regain full access to everything.

After 90 days, all business data (orders, products, inventory, metrics, ads data, manual adjustments) is permanently deleted. Your account record is marked as deleted and can no longer be reactivated.

Reactivating After Cancellation

If you cancelled but change your mind before the billing period ends:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Click "Reactivate Subscription".
  3. Your plan continues as before with no interruption.

Reactivation Offers

If you cancelled your subscription, you may see a special offer when you log back in. These offers are personalized and can include:

  • A free trial period so you can try Dashboardly again with no commitment.
  • A discounted rate for a set period after the trial ends.

During the free period, you can process unlimited orders and your data imports resume automatically -- your historical data is still there, and new data starts flowing in right away.

Reactivation offers are shown on the login screen and are available for a limited time. If you see one and are interested, we recommend accepting it before it expires.

Free Trial

New users get a 14-day free trial with full access to all features on your chosen plan. Dashboardly may run extended trials during special launches -- check your signup email for your exact trial length. A credit card is required to start, but you are not charged until the trial ends.

  • You have full access to all features of your chosen plan.
  • No payment is charged until the trial ends.
  • You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged.

The trial end date is shown on your Subscription page.

Tips

  • Start with a plan that matches your order volume. You can always upgrade later if your business grows.
  • Set an Overage Cap to avoid unexpected charges if you have a busy month.
  • Consider annual billing if you plan to use Dashboardly long-term -- the savings add up.
  • Check your usage on the Subscription page periodically to see if you are approaching your order limit.

Common Issues

"Payment failed"

If a charge fails, Dashboardly and Stripe automatically attempt to recover the payment:

  • Your account is moved to read-only immediately. You keep access to your historical dashboards and data, but new orders are not processed until payment is resolved.
  • Stripe automatically retries the charge on its configured retry schedule over the following days.
  • You receive an in-app notification and Stripe's email at each failed attempt.
  • You have 30 days from the first failed payment to update your payment method. After 30 days, the subscription is automatically cancelled.

To resolve a failed payment at any time, go to Settings > Payments and click Manage Billing to update your card.

Plan features not updating after upgrade

It may take a minute for the system to process your upgrade. Refresh the page. If features still show the old plan after a minute or two, contact support.

Cannot downgrade due to usage limits

If you have more shops connected or more collaborators than the lower plan allows, you will need to reduce your usage first. Disconnect extra shops or remove extra collaborators before downgrading. See Connecting Your TikTok Shop for how to disconnect shops.
